The 20-year-old, who comes from a musical family, started his career at a young age by entering local music competitions, and he says his main influences are Bruno Mars, James Arthur, Justin Bieber, and Dermot Kennedy.
Off My Mind is his second single, following his debut track Lost, which was released last September.
Tell us three things about yourself?
I have massive determination to be a full-time singer.
I have a great sense of humour.
My first single Lost went #1 in the Irish iTunes chart and so has my new song, Off My Mind.
How would you describe your music?
I would like to describe my music as passionate and emotional, everything I write about is from thoughts and experiences of my life, so I love to create a story that people can envision and really feel the lyrics when I sing them.
Who are your musical inspirations?
Bruno Mars was always my inspiration as a kid, I love how unique he is and how different his voice is to other singers. James Arthur is also a big inspiration of mine I feel like myself and his music have that same type of emotion and pain, letting it all out!
How are you occupying yourself during the coronavirus lockdown?
It was tough at times to say the least, but I’ve always sat down at my piano or played my guitar and I’ve been getting a lot better at both of those. Song writing was a massive help for me to get things off my chest, so I mostly just did that. I also love playing video games so that helped me as I could communicate with my friends during it and still do!
What’s your favourite song right now?
Tough one. Right now, I would say Falling by Harry Styles. I love everything about this song and the artist.
Favourite lyric of all time?
“I used to rule the world, Seas would rise when I gave the word, Now in the morning I sleep alone, Sweep the streets I used to own.” This is from Viva La Vida by Coldplay. During lockdown I listened to this song a lot, and I never actually properly listened to the lyrics until then. I think the lyrics were overlooked because of how good the melody and the production were, but these lyrics are so amazing, it tells a whole story in a few lines!
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
That’s such a tough one! Probably Imagine by John Lennon. Never get tired of that song! Or Bohemian Rhapsody!!
Where can people find your music/more information?
You can find my music mostly on, Instagram and .
