A CHESTER man is celebrating after becoming a holiday park company’s youngest ever entertainment manager.
Reece Lloyd, 20, has worked as an entertainer for Park Holidays UK since completing his A Levels in 2019.
Earlier this year, he was interviewed for the role of entertainment manager Seaview Holiday Park in Whitstable, Kent, and was successful in landing the job.
“I had never thought about becoming a manager until this point”, said Reece. “I spoke about it to my roommate who also happened to be the assistant entertainment manager of the park, and he encouraged me to go for it.
“I also had support from my best friend on the park too. So at the age of 19 I applied to become a manager for the 2021 season – which is exactly what happened!”
He added: “I was thrilled when I received the news. I’m now an entertainment manager at the age of 20 – making me the youngest entertainment manager in the company, which I’m incredibly proud of!
“And not only that, I’m the youngest entertainment manager the company has ever had!
“I can’t wait for the 2021 season to start. There will of course still be some restrictions and guidelines that need to be followed, but that’s just a part of the challenge.
“I have loads of ideas of ways to make memorable holidays for all that visit Seaview Holiday Park.”
Reece is set to start his role when the park reopens on April 12.
