Tech Innovations at Cloudnine during the COVID19 pandemic
- Launch of Teleconsultation services for customers: After PM Modi’s Covid-19 appeal, in order to assure steady and quick medical services available to its customers, Cloudnine Group of Hospitals launched its first of its kind teleconsultation service/video consultation services with doctors in response to the growing public health concerns caused by the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The service was made available across Gurgaon, Noida, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Chennai units of Cloudnine, thereby allowing its customers to consult doctors from their homes via video, thereby avoiding all the non-essential travel to the hospital. This value-added health service is available on mobile phones through the “It’s our Baby” app with currently 100K users. This includes doctor consultations, electronic prescriptions and electronic medical certificates.
- Home Vaccination Services: Comfort and Convenience for vaccination of Children during the pandemic was one of the main worries of our customers. Cloudnine went to the customer’s doorstep to provide the babies with crucial vaccinations/immunisations they’re missing out on due to the current situation. Every child born on Cloudnine was our responsibility, and reminding them of their vital vaccinations is our duty. Customers, in order to avail Home Vaccination services, take virtual/video consultation with Cloudnine’s paediatrician via Cloudnine’s ‘It’s Our Baby’ app or through our website online appointment widget.
- Doorstep Delivery of Medicines As per the directive issued by the Union Health Ministry allowing the doorstep delivery of essential medicines as part of an effort to restrict people’s movement further, Cloudnine collaborated with Dunzo, an all-in-one 24X7 delivery platform to deliver essential medicines to expecting mothers and their newborns at the doorstep. Dunzo’s no-contact delivery ensured that medicines are delivered safely and securely to customers across Cloudnine centres in Gurgaon, Pune, Chennai and Bengaluru.
Cloudnine Community: The Mom’s Community
The Cloudnine Community is the Mom’s Community, a support group with over 10,000 members. Expecting couples and new parents can get answers from experts to all the questions related to pregnancy, birthing, childbirth, baby care, lactation, nutrition, physiotherapy, counselling and much more. This community is a collective effort of all the experts to answer every possible question & concerns related to parenting and childbirth. Apart from this, there is a lot of information available in the community through blogs, webinars, podcasts, polls on parenting tips. An App made especially for expectant parents, Cloudnine’s It’s Our Baby is a one-stop solution for all customers which not only allows them to book appointments, view preferred doctors slots, view their prescriptions in real-time, register in advance to seek an appointment for the labs, scans or participate in any of the upcoming events, make digital payments to have a seamless experience. It also allows customers to view doctor’s notes, lab reports and e-prescriptions right after your appointment on your phone. Apart from this, the app has an interesting feature on baby milestones where expecting parents can access week by week baby development, nutrition tips, workout advice, and stay updated on all the upcoming events on Cloudnine.
Neonatal Emergency Transport Service
Cloudnine in India also started one of the first Neonatal Emergency Transport Service (NETS) to save newborns in distress. This is one of first of its kind service designed to quickly deliver critical care services by a multidisciplinary team of experts using the most advanced technology in order to provide the highest standard of care to extreme pre-term babies.
