President The Rock is not out of the realm of possibilities.

Dwayne Johnson says it’s ‘humbling’ to know that in a recent poll 46% of Americans would support him if he ran for President of the United States but admits he might not have the ‘patience’ for politics.

The 49-year-old wrestler turned A-list movie star addressed the growing number of people ready to Rock the vote in an interview with People Magazine on Wednesday.

'I've been a lucky guy over the years': As for being named the number one reason to love America, Dwayne (seen in August 2019) insisted that he was even more humbled to receive the honor than when he was named People's Sexiest Man Alive of 2016

‘I’ve been a lucky guy over the years’: As for being named the number one reason to love America, Dwayne (seen in August 2019) insisted that he was even more humbled to receive the honor than when he was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive of 2016

‘I love our country to my core and I’m endlessly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had here, as a half-Black, half-Samoan kid being able to work my a*s off knowing tenacity opens doors,’ he told the outlet.

Adding: ‘In a lot of ways, I’m indebted to our great country for it.’

While The Rock has had many transformations – first as a professional WWE wrestler and then to Hollywood’s highest paid leading man – he explained that politics was never in the cards.

‘[I am] not a politician nor did I ever have political passions,’ he said. ‘And, quite frankly, I’m not sure I even have the patience or resignation to deal with the B.S. that comes with politics and politicians.’

A large swath of American’s disagree, and think that the Jungle Cruise star is just what the country needs to get back on track with 46% of responders saying they were in favor of Johnson running for the Oval Office in a recent poll.

‘When 46% of Americans say they’re in favor of me becoming president, that forces me to humbly and respectfully stand up, listen and learn,’ he said.

When the online public opinion poll released by consumer trends company Piplsay poll first came out, the actor responded with a tweet brushing off the idea.

‘Not sure our Founding Fathers ever envisioned a six-four, bald, tattooed, half-Black, half-Samoan, tequila drinking, pick up truck driving, fanny pack wearing guy joining their club – but if it ever happens it’d be my honor to serve the people,’ the former pro-wrestler wrote.

However, he’s been mulling over the idea of a presidential run for a while now.

‘I do have that goal to unite our country and I also feel that if this is what the people want, then I will do that,’ Johnson told Today in April.

The Rock was named the number one reason to love America by People magazine on Wednesday.

And though the honor was huge, the A-lister made sure he took time to gush over his wife Lauren Hashian for her parenting skills.

He said that that he had to learn ‘to have better patience’ during the COVID-19 pandemic and was in awe of the 36-year-old singer’s multitasking skills.

Dwayne said: ‘I would marvel at Lauren. We would conduct [at-home school] classes; she would be the teacher, and I sat there crisscross-applesauce with my daughters, and within five minutes I was like, ‘God, I am so tired.’ And my wife was going and going and going.’

The talented star first met Lauren in 2006 while he was filming The Game Plan and they tied the knot in 2019.

He said he appreciates the ease of their longtime relationship as he explained: ‘There’s a comfort. We may argue, but truly within 10 minutes we pull ourselves out of it and find some humor in the things that we just said. Mainly the things that I just said.’

The two share daughters Jasmine, 5, and Tia, 3, as Dwayne shares daughter Simone with ex-wife and production partner Dany Garcia, 52.

'I do have that goal to unite our country and I also feel that if this is what the people want, then I will do that,' Johnson told Today in April.
