Frank Ocean to headline Coachella in 2023… with Rage Against the Machine and Travis Scott set for 2022

Two-time Grammy winner Frank Ocean will headline one of the three days during the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, because he’s unavailable in 2022.

Coachella Festival co-founder Paul Tollett confirmed Monday to the Los Angeles Times that the 33-year-old alternative R&B star would return after his 2012 performance.

Frank was originally scheduled to headline the 2020 edition, but the coronavirus pandemic lead to the cancellation of the 2020 and 2021 fests in Indio, CA.

2020 headliners Rage Against the Machine and Travis Scott will return to the Empire Polo Club on April 15-17 and April 22-24, but the third headliner has yet to be named.

The 2022 edition managed to sell out without the 125K fans knowing the full line-up, but ‘over half’ of ticket buyers requested refunds when the 2020 edition was shut down.

As of now, proof of vaccination and negative Covid tests will not be required to attend 2022 Coachella.

‘We’re monitoring everything. I don’t want to put anything in cement right now, because I just don’t know,’ Tollett told LA Times.
