Health min on cleaning spree | Jamshedpur News


JAMSHEDPUR: State health minister and local MLA Banna Gupta was seen in a different role at Dumohoni on the banks of Subarnarekha river here on Sunday morning. The minister cleaned the ghats and also used a bamboo stick to clear the river of water hyacinth.
He took part in the cleaning drive for a couple of hours from 7am. The Subarnarekha is a major source of drinking water for the Steel City.
Several organisations, including Jusco workers and officials, also participated in the cleaning drive. Banna said: “I was born in Jamshedpur and it is my duty to give back to the society and environment that helped me grow.” tnn
