Xiaomi Mi 11X series and Mi 11 Ultra are launching in India today and you will be able to watch the launch event online. The Mi 11X series will have the standard Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro models and they’re said to be a rebrand of Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro+, respectively. The Mi 11 Ultra originally debuted in March and is a premium flagship that highlights a secondary screen on the back. The Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11X series prices in India and sale dates will be revealed during the launch event today. Here’s a quick look at how you can watch Xiaomi’s mega-event online.

Mi 11X series and Mi 11 Ultra launch event time and livestream link

Xiaomi Mi 11X series and Mi 11 Ultra India launch event will be live-streamed on the company’s social media handles and on YouTube at 12:00 PM IST. Mi 11X series and Mi 11 Ultra price in India (expected)

The Xiaomi Mi 11X price in India is said to be under Rs 40,000 while the Mi 11X Pro could be under Rs 50,000. Lastly, the Mi 11 Ultra price in India is tipped to be above Rs 70,000.

Mi 11 Ultra specifications

The Mi 11 Ultra sports a 6.81-inch QHD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display with 3200×1440 pixels resolution, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 Wide Color Gamut, 1700nits peak brightness, HDR10+, MEMC, and 10 bit colour depth. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. It boots Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 custom skin out of the box. A 5,000mAh battery with 67W wired fast-charging, 67W wireless charging, and 10W reverse charging support fuels the phone. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1 + L5), NFC, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. 

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra packs a triple camera setup at the back with a 50MP ISOCELL GN2 primary sensor, a 48MP Sony IMX586 ultra-wide-angle lens with OIS and f/2.2 aperture, and a 48MP Sony IMX586 telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, 120x digital zoom, and OIS. It has a 20MP snapper on the front for the selfie snapper. The phone is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance.

Mi 11X is said to be a rebrand of the Redmi K40. To recall, the Redmi K40 sports a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch response, punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, and a 3.5mm slim bottom bezel. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage that can be further expandable via a microSD card. The phone runs Android 11-based MIUI 12 custom skin out of the box and packs a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

As for the cameras, the Redmi K40 comes with a triple camera setup at the back, with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 5MP macro lens. There is a 20MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats. The phone packs a 4,520mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C for charging and data transfer. 

Mi 11X Pro specifications

The Mi 11X Pro is rumoured to be a rebranded Redmi K40 Pro+. The Redmi phone sports the same 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits peak brightness. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with Adreno 660 GPU, up to 12GB RAM, and 512GB storage. The phone boots Android 11-based MIUI 12 custom skin on top. The handset houses a 4,520mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port. Moving to optics, the Redmi K40 Pro+ has a triple camera setup at the back with a 108MP Samsung HM2 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wid-angle lens, and a 5MP macro sensor. There is a 20MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
