Methow artists Marcus Duke and George Schneider will perform a virtual concert of keyboard and flute duets available starting Friday night, with proceeds of donations — raised though pay-what-you-can ticket sales — benefiting Cascadia Music.
Tickets are available at cascadiamusic.org. The concert will first be available online at 6 p.m. Friday and is scheduled to be rebroadcast on KTRT on April 2.
The concert will include original songs and covers with inspiration from blues, jazz, rock, world fusion and classical genres.
“Marcus Duke and George Schneider’s approach to jazz is less about the genre and more about an adventurous attitude and improvisation — common threads that tie together an instrumental set drawing from traditional yet diverse styles,” according to a post on Cascadia Music’s website.
