looks completely unrecognisable in her latest on-screen venture for House of Gucci.
The Grammy award-winning singer, 34, transformed into her role as socialite Patrizia Reggiani in the forthcoming movie – and the star looks worlds away from her usual self.
The film follows Gaga’s character’s plot to murder her ex-husband over fears their daughter wouldn’t receive her £122million ($170million) inheritance and she wouldn’t be entitled to a fair divorce settlement.
Gucci’s murder sent shockwaves through the fashion world after he was gunned down on the steps of his office in Milan.
Patrizia was convicted of hiring hitmen to murder her late ex-husband Maurizio in cold blood in 1995 after he left her for another woman.
The socialite – who became known as the Black Widow – spent 18 years behind bars for arranging his murder.
Gaga took on the role of the wronged wife who ordered the murder of Maurizio, and it’s safe to say there’s no essence of the Rain on Me singer in sneak peeks from the film.
Gaga is currently in Rome, Italy, as she continues to film scenes for the biographical crime film directed by Ridley Scott.
The star has been spotted shooting with co-staras the pair transformed into their characters.
And Gaga looked unrecognisable as she portrayed the role of Patrizia by sporting a very different hairstyle from her signature long blonde locks.
The star dyed her hair brunette and wore them in a short voluminous style typical of the era.
She teamed her old fashioned look with a full face of makeup and statement pearl earrings.
Several snaps of the set show the star exude 90s glamour in several frocks and short skirts.
Alongside Gaga and Adam Driver, the film also stars Oscar winneras his father, Rodolfo Gucci.
, , , Reeve Carney, and Oscar winner are also believed to be starring in the film.
Lady Gaga first was linked to the movie in November last year.
The singer-turned-actress got a Best Actress Academy Award nomination for her role in A Star Is Born.
While she didn’t win, Lady Gaga scooped the Best Original Song for Shallow at the Oscars for the 2018 film.
Gucci is currently scheduled for release in cinemas on November 24, 2021.
