To buy or not to buy? That is the question.

Collider reports that Marvel Studios is collaborating with the Philadelphia-based publishing company Quirk Books to release a novel that will recount all four “Avengers” movies in the style of William Shakespeare.

According to ComicBook.com, Ian Doescher is set to write the novel that will be titled “William Shakespeare’s Avengers: The Complete Works.” It will tell the stories of “The Avengers,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame” with authentic meter and verse, stage directions, as well as a few Easter eggs.

The official description for Doescher’s new book reads:

“What if the most epic cinematic franchise of all time had been penned by the greatest playwright of all time? Wonder no more! ‘William Shakespeare’s Avengers: The Complete Works’ reimagines all four films as plays by the Bard of Avon, complete with authentic meter and verse, stage directions, and entertaining Easter eggs. Fans will experience their favorite scenes, characters, and lines in a new — yet fully faithful — way, through monologues and dialogue by everyone from Captain America to Groot (’Tis I!)” (via ComicBook.com).

The New York Post reports that this is not Doescher’s first time taking a movie franchise back to the 16th century. The author previously reimagined the “Star Wars” franchise in similar fashion.

According to Collider, Quirk Books has built a reputation for its parodies of classic literature. The publishing company is also responsible for “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies,” a novel that puts a dystopian spin on Jane Austen’s famous tale. In 2016, the book was adapted into a feature film that shared the same name.

While the precise release date for “William Shakespeare’s Avengers: The Complete Works” is unclear at this time, Doescher announced in a tweet that it will “hit the shelves” before the end of the year.

New York Post reports that the book is currently available to preorder through various online booksellers, including Amazon. Hardcover copies are priced at $34.99 each with Kindle editions selling for $15.99.
