With Mass Effect Legendary Edition just over a week away (at the time of writing), we’ve seen quite a few people asking about how big its file size is going to be. After all, this is all three games from the original trilogy bundled into one release — and they’ve all been fully remastered and enhanced to boot.
With that in mind, it’s perhaps of little surprise that Legendary Edition is going to be a, er, massive download. On PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 (via backwards compatibility), the rebuilt trilogy will eat up 80GB in the US, and 101GB in the EU. We assume that the bigger EU size is due to language functionality.
According to PlayStation Game Size, these numbers include the hefty day one patch, which is 11.7GB in the US, and 13.3GB in Europe.
