Meghana Raj, on Sunday, took to Instagram to promote her late husband Chiranjeevi Sarja’s upcoming film, Ranam. The film, directed by V Samudra, will release in theatres on March 26. Ranam, which has Chiranjeevi Sarja playing the role of an encounter specialist, has been in the making for almost two years. For the uninitiated,, due to a massive cardiac arrest.

Meghana Raj and her fan pages shared a video of the actress speaking about her late husband Chiranjeevi’s forthcoming film Ranam. Stating that, she listed out the things she loved in Ranam and asked fans to watch it in theatres.
In the video, she said that Ranam has a unique storyline and is interesting to watch. She added, “Personally, I love how Chiranjeevi Sarja performs stunt sequences in his films. In Ranam, I loved a particular fight sequence. I felt it was too good.”
She took to Instagram stories to share the video and thanked fans for their support.

Reportedly, Ranam will release in over 250 screens in Karnataka alone. The film is tipped to be a Tamil and Telugu bilingual with Chiranjeevi Sarja and Chetan Kumar playing lead roles. Chetan will be seen as a revolutionary leader in the film. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will be seen in a crucial role.
Ranam’s shooting was completed much before the Covid-19 pandemic. Chiranjeevi Sarja passed away before he could complete the dubbing. Ranam is produced by RS Productions.
