Earlier there were rumours that Prithviraj Sukumaran is a part of the cast as the actor was spotted with Mohanlal during its pre-production discussions. And the latest reveal has come as pleasant news for the actor’s fans.
‘Barroz – Guardian of D’Gama’s Treasure’ is touted to be a 3D fantasy film. Helmed by Mohanlal the film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner Aashirvad Cinemas. The film is based on a story by Jijo Punnoose, the mastermind behind ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’, India’s first 3D film.
Actors Rafael Amargo and Paz Vega will play the characters of and his wife respectively in the film. Ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan will be cranking the lens and award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad too has roped in for the film. Art direction is handled by Santhosh Raman. As the film is shot in 3D, the major portions of it will be filmed inside the studio. The team has erected a huge set for the same. Child prodigy Lydian Nadhaswaram is composing the music and A Vijay is the action choreographer.
