The Best New Movies To Stream On Netflix, Hulu, HBO And Disney+ This Week

A new month? That means new movies. With April right around the corner, subscribers to streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu are eagerly awaiting a fresh slate of films to choose from on April 1.

But in addition to that influx of movies we get on the first day of each new month, new films continue to become available throughout the month as well. And that continues to be the case this week, as 18 new movies will be added to four of the biggest streamers: Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max and Disney+.

Here are the best new movies you can expect on each of those platforms. Then at the end of the article, you can find a full list of the new lineup.

Bad Trip (Netflix)

Eric Andre has formed a rabid following over the years with his various projects (most notably, The Eric Andre Show). In Bad Trip, he partners with the likes of Tiffany Haddish, Michaela Conlin and Lil Rey Howery to pull inventive pranks on unsuspecting people.

The Hurricane Heist (Hulu)

Netflix’s Cut Throat City wasn’t the first heist film to take place during a natural disaster. Two years earlier, The Hurricane Heist employed that very gimmick in a film about a small team of heroes that attempts to stop an elaborate robbery at a treasury facility.

Tina (HBO Max)

Tina Turner is one of the most celebrated musicians of all time. But she’s also had a career filled with intense professional struggles. This documentary from HBO takes a deep look at a life filled with ups and downs.

Gnomeo & Juliet (Disney+)

Over the years, Disney has pumped out dozens upon dozens of animated projects. But of them all, Gnomeo & Juliet might have the biggest cult following. Featuring an all-star British cast (James McAvoy, Emily Blunt, Michael Caine and Maggie Smith), this charming film uses the Romeo & Juliet formula in hilarious, family-friendly fashion.
