The Day – Beach music

Lou Sorrentino, a musician from East Windsor, plays his original song “Hope Never Stops” while visiting McCook Point Park in Niantic on Monday, March 22, 2021.

He was visiting a friend in the area and decided to stop and play a few songs at the beach when he realized how beautiful the day was and that his guitar was in his car.

The original song was inspired by the poetry of Emily Dickinson, and he has performed it at the Emily Dickinson Museum in Massachusetts. “I’m singing to God today,” Sorrentino said, “thanking him for this life and thanking him for this day.”
