A new piece of tie-in merchandise for Marvel Studios and Disney+’s Loki spoils the true identity of Sophia Di Martino’s Lady Loki.
The mystery of Lady‘s true identity in the Disney+ series has seemingly been solved by some tie-in merchandise for the Marvel Studios production.
Sold by, the Marvel’s Loki and Sylvie Helmet Replica Set confirms that is, in fact, Sylvie Lushton/Enchantress, as some fans have already theorized. “Take on the role of the God of Mischief with the Sylvie and Loki helmet replica set,” the description reads. “These officially licensed pieces are inspired by the hit Disney+ TV series Loki and available exclusively on Zavvi (UK and Europe)… Loki is labelled a ‘time variant’ and is due to be erased. To prevent this from happening, he agrees to help them track down an alternate version of himself who has been picking off squads of TVA Minutemen. This person turns out to be Sylvie, a female variant of Loki (seemingly). Much like the Loki audiences are familiar with, she is cunning and powerful.”
Created by Paul Cornell and Mark Brooks, Sylvie debuted in July 2009’s Dark Reign: Young Avengers #1. The character began as an ordinary denizen of Broxton, OK, but after her town became the new home of the Asgardians, she was bequeathed with the powers of Amora the Enchantress by Loki.
Loki stars Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Sophia Di Martino, Richard E. Grant, Sasha Lane, and Eugene Cordero. New episodes air Wednesdays on Disney+.
