WATCH: Teaser for ‘Teen Titans GO! to the Movies’

Published

Warner Bros. has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming animated feature Teen Titans GO! to the Movies, due in theaters July 27

The film is being directed by Aaron Horvath and Peter Rida Michail, from a screenplay by Michael Jelenic and Horvath, based on characters from DC Entertainment. Michail, Will Arnett and Peggy Regan are producing, with Sam Register, Jelenic, and Horvath serving as executive producers. Apart from Arnett, all are Teen Titans GO! series contributors.

The movie finds the egocentric, wildly satirical super heroes head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously super villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry.

Will Arnett (The LEGO Batman Movie) and Kristen Bell (Frozen) lend their voices to the first-ever big-screen version of DC Entertainment and Cartoon Network’s animated TV show, which also stars Greg Cipes (TV’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) as Beast Boy, Scott Menville (TV’s Spider-Man) as Robin, Khary Payton (The Walking Dead) as Cyborg, Tara Strong (the My Little Pony franchise) as Raven, and Hynden Walch (TV’s Adventure Time with Finn & Jake) as Starfire, reprising their roles from the series.

Americans Are ‘Sheep’ for Not Protesting COVID-19 Measures

  • Donald Trump Jr. praised a recent wave of protests in Europe over new COVID-19 restrictions.
  • He told Fox News that Americans were “sheep” for not “pushing back.”
  • Trump Jr. also falsely claimed that the US media was suppressing reports about the European protests.

Donald Trump Jr. praised countries in Europe for protesting against COVID-19 restrictions and said American people were “sheep” for not doing the same.

The former president’s son made the comments while speaking to Fox News’s Dan Bongino on Saturday.

“Europe is pushing back, and America is sitting there like sheep. ‘Oh, this is great. We’ll just go along with what these guys who’ve gotten nothing right in the last two years tell us.’ It’s absolute insanity,” Trump Jr. said.

Trump Jr. also falsely claimed that the media in the United States was deliberately not reporting on the recent wave of protests in Europe over COVID-19 winter restrictions, some of which turned into riots.

“You don’t hear about what’s going on as it relates to the riots in Europe on a daily basis now against the vaccine mandates because our media wants to block that out,” Trump Jr. said.

“They’re going to make sure that you never hear about it because they don’t want you getting these kind of ideas that freedom may actually still exist in some parts of the world.”

Numerous major US news outlets, including The New York Times, Fox News, ABC News, and Insider, reported extensively on the European protests.

Several European countries have introduced new measures to combat the spread of COVID-19 as winter approaches, including lockdowns and proof of vaccination to access certain places.

Earlier this year, the US introduced requirements for federal employees to be vaccinated, removing the option to get routinely tested instead.

As Insider previously reported, similar vaccine mandates in Europe have proved to be successful in increasing uptake.

Research has shown that the US has much higher rates of vaccine hesitancy than most European countries.

In the same interview with Fox, Trump Jr. criticized President Biden for not completely curbing the spread of the virus and bizarrely criticized the president for not curing cancer.

“He was also going to cure cancer, if I remember correctly, Dan,” Trump Jr. told Dan Bongino. “Remember that? Everyone was, ‘Oh, that’s great, we should definitely elect him.’ I haven’t seen much movement on that.”

covid: Omicron fallout: Covid test at Chandigarh OPDs | Chandigarh News

CHANDIGARH: The health department is on alert after the WHO confirmed omicron as a new Covid variant of concern. A list of travellers is being compiled with the help of the police to monitor and track them, while all public hospitals OPDs will again start testing patients for Covid.
Since the past four days, there has been a slight rise in the number of daily positive cases. On November 24, six cases were reported. The next day, nine positives were confirmed. On November 26, eight and on Saturday, five cases were detected. . The active cases have also increased from 35 on November 23 to 52 on Saturday.
“We daily review the Covid status and at intervals send samples for genome sequencing. However, the public must adhere to Covid appropriate behaviour as we are seeing mutations in those countries which had least vaccination,” said director health services Dr Suman Singh.

The detection of the variant of concern, with cases popping up in many countries, calls for greater vigilance in the tricity. The increased surveillance of overseas travellers and strict adherence to Covid-appropriate behaviour, which has been junked by most people, is the only thing that will help in keeping things under control.

All states/ UTs have been told to adhere to the overarching ‘test-tracktreat-vaccinate’ principle to ensure stringent implementation of containment measures as per Centre guidelines.“While we have 73% coverage of full immunisation in the city and the antibodies against the virus was seen to be over 75% in the adult population, there is a belief that there is a need for booster dose in some sections of the population. Implying, the immunity is waning and if there is a mutant in any part of the world, it can affect our public health measures if we do not follow Covid appropriate behaviour,” said a public health expert. The administration has also issued an advisory, asking resident of the city to follow all the protocols. The residents are request to take all precautionary measure to phase out the pandemic. Chandigarh administration is also pushing hard for complete vaccination of residents.
AIRPORT SCAN
The UT administration has started monitoring people from abroad at the airport. Passengers are being categorised, with those from high-risk countries (South Africa, Brazil, Bangladesh, Botswana, China, Mauritius, New Zealand and Zimbabwe) being made to undergo RT-PCR test on their arrival and undergo quarantine for seven days. On the eighth day, they will be retested (RT-PCR) again.
